Bubbi brushes is a makeup brush line created by one of my favourite youtuber Bubzbeauty. She has developed the products started from somewhere 5 years ago if I am not mistaken. The first products were designed in a white and red colour theme. The new bubbi brushes are designed in black and magenta colour theme, which I feel is a smart choice for more sophisticated look.
After get in touch with my own hands on these brushes, I can see the passion Bubz has put into her brushes. It's truly very soft and feel like made with a good quality and workmanship. With a low price at £64.98 (aprox. USD 101) is the best deal for those of you who is beginner or even for those professional makeup artist. I am not sure if comparing with those high end brushes like Sigma, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Hakuhodo, etc (because honestly I don't have any of them, as personally I don't feel I am expert enough as professional makeup artist to have that). But compare with the luxury brand brushes, maybe 2-3 brushes equal to whole set of Bubbi Brushes price. With a decent price and such a soft and good quality, it is worth to buy products. For the whole set, you are getting 6 Face Brushes and 6 Eyeshadow Brushes.
A simple yet smart packaging with a great graphic is designed into this set. It comes with the professional roll-up brush pouch in black. It's quite good to carry around if you are doing MUA or for your brushes storage.
In every each brush is crafted with a description of the brush's function. Brilliant for a beginner!!!
Bubbi Dome Brush
is made with natural fibers. It is very soft with a dome shape which is good for blushes, shading and highlighting application that need some precision without changing into different brush.
Bubbi Powder Brush
is made with synthetic fibers. It is very soft for powder application into our face. With a very soft brush, it's not leaving a marking into face when applying powder on top your foundation. Its medium-sized with a wedge shape is good for powder application. Powder brush doesn't necessary need to be big and fluffy. A medium-sized brush could give you even a better result, especially for the nose and eyes area where you need more precise application.
Bubbi Dual Cover Brush
is made with synthetic fibers. It use for foundation, BB cream, CC cream or concealer application. The size of this brush is so perfect done for concealer applicator. I've been searching for good size of concealer brush dupe and this is the one. For Bobbi Brown concealer brush it can cost me about USD30. It's such a dupe for that. It's almost the same size and quality with Bobbi Brown (happend that i have tried Bobbi Brown on my searching). The smaller size brush is the perfect size for eye concealer. The wider brush is good for a larger application on face. Do you need to use brush to applying concealer or hand is more than enough? The answer is yes! You would need a brush for a smoother and more coverage. It does not take so much product compare when you are using purely hand. Gentle and slight tapping motion using fingers would be used for the final set into your under eyes or face area. Synthetic brush by far is best for dark eye concealer application.
Bubbi Sculpting Brush
is made with synthetic fibers. With an angle brush, it is good for blush, bronze and highlighting application. It's very dense and soft.
Bubbi HD Flawless Brush
is made with synthetic fibers. It comes with an angle brush. It is dense and very soft. It is very good for liquid or cream foundation or BB/ CC cream, as well as concealer. The downside of this brush is a little bit small, so you may need a longer time to apply your foundation. It is really give you a flawless result on your face.
Bubbi Buffer Brush
is made with synthetic brush. It is dense and very soft. This is like a kabuki brush which is used for powder buffing application. I like to use it for loose powder. You can use this brush for foundation and bronze application for an airbrushed look finish.
Bubbi Eye Contour Brush
is made with natural fibers. Natural fiber is a better choice for makeup brushes. So glad that she feature some of natural fibers into her collection. Natural bristle is good for buffing. This angle bristle is perfect for eye contouring application.
Bubbi Blending Brush
is made with synthetic brush. It is soft and the length is good enough for blending eyeshadow.
Bubbi Shader Brush
is made with natural fibers. This is another bristle from her line that is using natural fibers. The rounded bristle is good for eyeshadow application. It is so soft.
Bubbi Dual Eyes Brush
is made with natural fibers. It is almost similar with Bubbi Shader Brush, with a wider rounded brush for larger eyeshadow application. It comes with dual bristle, one with wider rounded brush and another one is a pointed bristle that is good for eyeshadow application that needs precision. It is perfect to apply into the eye socket for deepen the eye dimension.
Bubbi Smudger Brush
is made with synthetic brush. What is the difference with Bubbi Blending Brush? It is stiffer with shorter bristle. It is good for more precise application like eyeliner smudging that needs a smaller brush to do it. When blending brush is to smooth any harsh line, this Bubbi Smudger Brush would still leave a define line and really focus on a smaller precise area.
Bubbi Detail Brush
is made with synthetic fibers. It's thin, firm yet soft. It's good for inner corner highlight, outer corner definition, eyeliner smudging and also works well for lipstick application.

Overall I am so satisfied with her new brushes. It is really ultra soft what she has claimed. You may need to understand your face structure to decide which bristle size is suitable for your face. I think this set is worth to buy and for those of you prefer to have lesser brushes, you may consider her essential brushes set. Hope this review would help and inspire you makeup addict out there.
